Tiffany Hicks, CEO and Professor respectively of VRE Training Solutions and Lone Star College is a corporate training consultant with 15 plus years of Business, Community, Employee, Training Development and Management experience. She holds Master Degrees in the Science of Management and Community Development. A proud HBCU alumni of Prairie View A&M University. She has developed and facilitated training for Fortune 500 brands and others such as Capital One Bank, PeopleFund, Samsung, SCORE, and Verizon Wireless.
Leon Owens is the owner of a private, small, family owned security and investigations company in Texas, Owens Security and Investigations, LLC. He has a BS in Psychology from Sam Houston State University and a Master of Health Administration from University of Phoenix. A member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Leon promotes positive economic growth, sustainable business practices, and social responsibility for all organizational leaders.
Taylor Hicks is an artist, producer, and entrepreneur. Deeply rooted in the culture of music, specifically hip hop this born and raised Houston native started his music venture in 2014 with various internships at local radio stations as an on-air personality and board operator. He holds an Associate’s Degree from Navarro College and attended Houston Community College’s Audio Recording Technology Program. He has a passion for developing and helping artists with ownership and team building.
Nicole Simmons received her Master of Community Degree (School of Architecture from Prairie View A&M University). She has over 21 years’ experience in the field of education working with children from residential services and as a Special Education Teacher and award winning mentor. Mrs. Simmons is the Founder of Agape’ Children’s Emergency Shelter, one of Harris County’s premiere providers of emergency stabilization, assessment, counseling, and shelter care for victims of child abuse and human trafficking in Texas. She is committed to connecting people in need with people of resource.
Rasheedah Hardeman is the owner of Divine Ntchr Connections, LLC, a multimedia company providing freelance videography, editing, and photography. She is a creative production leader in independent video and is highly motivated and versatile. Her passion is connecting communities of color to resources and creating positive spaces for our culture to share and tell their stories. Most importantly she is an aspiring filmmaker and documentarian.
Renata Wallace is the owner of Wallace Notary & Business Services (a subsidiary of Wallace Girlz Enterprises, LLC), a company providing loan signing and general business services, including business process documentation and administrative services. In addition, she is the owner of two other beauty businesses providing both styling and spa services. Her passion is ensuring business owners in her community are building scalable systems via efficient and effective process, policy, procedure documentation.
The Mitchell’s philanthropy philosophy is “community service begins at home” as the proud parents of 8 Kings and a Queen, grandparents to 6 grandchildren they’ve spent a lifetime teaching their family the path to success by example. Subscribing to the method of “Reach One Teach One” They believe in consistently learning new things and having a responsibility to teach those things to others. Personal development focusing on communication and leadership, financial literacy, mindset and planning, networking, and resources.
